Cashmere
The origin of the suburb name is from an early property owner by the name of James Cash. There are still old easements in the area allowing for cows to pass through the streets. Cashmere is what I would call a boutique suburb with a mix of traditional and larger blocks plus acreage al-lotments for those wishing to make a tree change. Cashmere was mentioned in a Courier Mail article as one of Brisbane’s top 10 liveable suburbs. Cashmere is bounded to the north by Lake Samsonvale and is located west of Warner.
